Aside from allowing crowds to return, Tokyo Game Show 2022 will also feature a slew of shows and streams from major gaming companies, as detailed in the event's recently released schedule.

The event will last four days, starting on September 15th at 1 am GMT/10 am JST until September 18th, with 38 programs being streamed online, 29 of which are "Official Exhibitor Programs" sponsored by various big names in the gaming world such as Konami, Square Enix, and Bandai Namco.

Those who want to watch the Tokyo Game Show from outside of Japan can do so in a variety of ways. IGN will provide coverage for those in the United States, Huya will provide coverage for those in China, and the rest of the world can watch live via the TGS Special Page on Steam or through their official YouTube Channel.

It is worth noting that all of the times listed for the shows at TGS are in Japanese Standard Time, which means that anyone hoping to catch a specific stream may have to wake up early or stay up late depending on where they are.

Tokyo Game Show - Schedule

Below you can see the full schedule that the TGS will be following once the event kicks off. Capcom, the famed studio behind Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, and a slew of other franchises have one show dedicated to new and existing releases unrelated to Street Fighter 6, and another dedicated to the upcoming fighting game.

Aside from Capcom's double showcase, Xbox will make an appearance at this year's TGS, with plans to show off the games it has already announced. Some speculate that this could include new gameplay for exciting titles such as Starfield, but nothing has been confirmed, although, in a recent statement from Xbox, we know the theme for their expo will be "Nothing stops gaming". So we'll definitely be keeping our eyes peeled to see what they have to showcase this year.

All in all, with TGS on its way, and other events set to hit this month such as EGX London and PAX West, it's clear that September is gearing up to be a month for gamers around the world to keep their ear to the ground with excitement.
