Now that Fall Guys has finally released, over 1.5 million players have entered the fight for first place in the wacky battle royale-style game. Playing a series of minigames with the aim to be the last jellybean standing at the end of it all, there’s a lot to learn if you want to be the best. Here’s how to win at Jinxed.
How to win Jinxed
In Jinxed, players in two teams must run away from enemy Fall Guys with the Jinxed status effect. When Jinxed, a coloured cloud will spin around your player model and you can pass on the status by grabbing members of the opposing team that aren’t currently Jinxed.
It’s a game of last-man-standing wins, so make sure to track down all opponents fast, else you risk your team becoming 100% Jinxed. Throughout the stage, giant pendulums swing from side-to-side, knocking over any players that get too close. Any player who falls in Jinxed becomes the perfect target for those looking to take a point away from their opponents.

There’s very little space to hide on this map, so the only way to avoid being Jinxed is to keep moving and to risk diving over the pendulums. The spinning platforms in the centre are a good way to maintain agility, but they can attract a lot of footfall throughout the game. If you’re already Jinxed, you might also want to consider trying to protect your team’s non-Jinxed players.
Although you can’t affect them with the Jinxed condition, grabbing enemies that area already Jinxed can be helpful for your team, as it holds them in place for a moment and allows your teammates to escape. Of course, if you think your efforts would be better spent helping corner the remaining enemies, lend a hand to that cause instead.
- Stay on the move constantly when running from Jinxed players
- Try to cause your pursuers to get knocked over by the pendulums
- Hold enemy players away from your non-Jinxed allies
Fall Guys is available now on PlayStation 4 and PC. PlayStation Plus members can download it for free this month.
