There have been some misconceptions regarding FFVII Remake Intergrade revolving around its cost, so here's the explanation -- Is the game free? Yes and no.

Essentially, if you own a copy (either physical or digital) of Final Fantasy VII Remake for the PS4 you are entitled to the Intergrade update at no additional cost. If you don't, you'll have to pay for the full game.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will come with a premium PS5 price tag, retailing at $69.99 or the equivalent depending on your region for the standard edition. The deluxe version will cost $89.99.

Here is what you'll be getting with the deluxe edition:

  • FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE Digital Artbook
  • FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE Digital Mini Soundtrack

Important side-note: For those of you who own the PS4 version of the game and are looking to get the upgrade for free, this does not include the Yuffie INTERmission DLC. And no, owning the PS+ version of the game doesn't grant you free access to Intergrade.
