Few players are so good in their respective roles that they have it named after them, then again, few are as good as Claude Makélélé. The French defensive-midfielder made being that, sexy, and inspired a generation of youngsters to take defending seriously.

At the price this card comes in at, well north of 1.4m coins, it is no surprise it is obviously world-class in all respects. Insane Defending, Physicality and Pace stats with top-tier Dribbling and Passing make him one of, if not, they best defensive-midfielders in the game. Though he does have some competitors, namely, Joshua Kimmich's TOTW card, and other Icons such as Fernando Hierro, Schewisnsteiger and Michael Essien.
