Original Story Follows - The Team of the Season Promo has almost come to an end but it promises to go out on a high with the release of the Ultimate TOTS. Made up of the best cards from the previous 5 weeks, Ultimate TOTS gives players one final chance to pack some of the best cards in the entire game.
This will also be the last ever Team of the Season under the FIFA name, with the franchise rebranding as EA FC from the next game onwards.

When Is It Released?
The Ultimate TOTS will be released June 9th at 18:00 BST. This is the final Team of the Season to be released and as of yet it’s unknown what promo will be following it.
What Can We Expect?
Let’s be honest, there’s no perfect way to predict what the Ultimate Team of the Season is going to be, as with no voting it’s purely down to EA’s choice. But we here at Ginx decided to crack their code (if there even is a code) and work out what sort of patterns we can come to expect based off of FIFA 22’s team.
We figure there’s going to be 23 players released in to packs, but let’s look at those players more closely.
In terms of positions, it was more heavily weighted towards attackers. 9 Attackers to be precise, with 6 midfielders, 7 defenders and one single goalkeeper.
When it comes to the leagues, they were also weighted towards the Premier League. In fact, England’s top league had over double the amount of cards in packs that La Liga did, with 7 players to 3. Alongside that was 5 from Ligue 1, 4 from Bundesliga and 4 from Serie A.
Our predictions are roughly following that pattern but again, there’s really no way of knowing for sure. We decided to stay away from looking at specific prices as the Serie A TOTS is still all over the place market wise, but it’s also worth mentioning EA like to include some easy to pack and cheaper items, just to tease us.
Who Have We Predicted?
Right then, for the last time this year let’s get down to it.
Defenders
The low end cards here are probably going to be some of the cheapest in the team, but that doesn’t mean there’s not some extremely desirable defenders to be had. De Ligt and Militao in particular are rare finds, and their inclusions could finally help some of us fill our collections.

Midfield is probably where EA will sneak in some of the more commonly packed players, despite keeping the average rating quite high. Kimmich and Modric may boast high ratings, but if you opened many packs during their original release you’ll know they were quite common for TOTS standards.

Probably the most anticipated part of the team, the Ultimate Attackers is sure to get some fans mad. Even though the quality of the players is a ridiculously high standard, we’ve still had to leave out players like Neymar, Osimhen and Benzema. The good news however is you’re almost certain to be getting a useable card if you manage to pack an attacker… unless you pack Kolo Muani, who we think is almost certain to be included if only just to get our hearts racing when we see French, ST…

And there we have it, our 23 predictions for the Ultimate TOTS. If we’re honest, we’ll be quite happy to have predicted around half of the players in the team, as this is easily the hardest predictions of the entire season.
