How To Find Bomb King In Final Fantasy 16

To begin, players need to acquire the Weird Science side quest at the hideaway while progressing through the Out of the Shadow main quest. After Clive accepts Owain's request, they should proceed to the Hunt Board and consult Nektar for further details.

Unlike other Notorious Mark flyers found on the Hunt Board, the flyer for the Bomb King provides limited information regarding its location. The Bomb King can be found in an area called The Crock, situated north of The Imperial Chase within The Holy Empire of Sanbreque. 

The nearest waypoint to this location is The Dragon's Aery. While navigating towards The Crock, players will notice a black ball on the floor within the ruins, which is the Bomb King. As they approach it, a cutscene will be triggered, igniting the Bomb King and transforming it into the fiery monster that must be defeated.

While Clive may have encountered smaller Bombs before, the Bomb King presents a greater challenge, despite its attacks being easily avoidable. Consider the following tips when attempting to defeat this Notorious Mark:

• From a distance, the Bomb King will launch fire projectiles, which should not be a problem for experienced players. Simply dodge them or utilize Heatwave to retaliate.
• In close quarters, the Bomb King utilizes its formidable body to smash or lunge at Clive. Time your movements and sidestep to create opportunities for counterattacks.
• When the Bomb King performs Coronation, it will be surrounded by swirling fire before shooting a fireball. Keep a safe distance from the enemy and evade the projectile. As its health decreases, the Bomb King will unleash multiple fireballs with this attack.
• The most dangerous move of the Bomb King is Witan, where it summons additional Bombs to join the fight. If left unchecked, these Bombs will self-destruct, causing significant damage. Use powerful area-of-effect attacks or start moving once the countdown for their self-destruction begins.

By focusing on the Bomb King and preventing it from repeatedly summoning more Bombs with Witan, victory can be achieved with some effort. Defeating the Bomb King will reward players with 1150 XP, 65 Ability Points, 9000 Gil, and 20 Renown. The Bomb Ember dropped by the Bomb King will also prove useful for crafting.
