When it comes to Fortnite, each and every season will have new content for players to check out. In Chapter 5 Season 1, the island saw the addition of a train which continuously moves around the match. 
 
This train offers some new mobility in not only getting around the island, but enabling some exciting firefights. But what players really want to know is: can you drive the train in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1?

The short and simple answer is no, players cannot drive the train in Chapter 5 Season 1. Although the train is fully functional, it's always moving around the map. The train cannot be stopped by players who are on it nor can it be driven in any sort of way.
 
This is arguably a good decision on Epic's part. Having the ability to drive the train would make some players unstoppable. They would be able to hit others easily and get away with it. To make Fortnite fair for everybody, it's better that the train cannot be driven. 

How To Get On The Train In Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1

The best way to get on the train in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 is to simply jump on it. As previously stated, the train is constantly moving around the map and will not stop, even at stations.
Players will have to use a bit of creativity to make sure that they are positioned in a way that allows them to get on the train easily. One way that players could get on the train is by using another vehicle to get beside it. Players can pull up beside the train and use the momentum to get out of the vehicle to climb on the train. 
 
Players can also locate a bridge that the train passes under, wait for it to pass through, and jump from there. You'll be able to see where the train is, and its tracks, by opening up the in-game map.
