Fortnite Elite Cup: Schedule, Format, Prize Pool & How To Watch

Fans of competitive Fortnite are being spoiled this weekend with not one but three tournaments being played.

We have the culmination of the new Search & Destroy tournament on Friday, while PS4 players have the Celebration Cup to look forward to.

Add to that surprise announcement of the Practise Server's 'Elite Cup Featuring Fortnite' and we have one of the biggest weekends of competitive Fortnite ever.

The Fortnite Elite Cup will see 100 of the best Fortnite players from Europe and North America competing for the lions share of a $10,000 prize pool.

The one-day tournament will kick off on Saturday at 4:00 PM EST.

Fortnite Elite Cup Format

Unlike the recent Search & Destroy tournament the Elite Cup will be played in the traditional Battle Royale game mode. The tournament will be played online with players from NAW, NAE and EU. To mitigate the latency for all players the games will be played on the NAE server - meaning EU players could have pings as high as 200.

It is unknown whether the tournament is being played as Solo, Duos or Squads. We do know that there will be 6 matches played. The scoring format has not yet been released.

This information on this page will be updated as it comes out.
