Epic Games has always been on the ball when it comes to adding pop culture to Fortnite. The latest addition, according to leaks, is the extremely popular TikTok Renegade dance. Now, there's a release date for the Renegade dance in Fortnite.

With the latest big Fortnite update (v13.20), dataminers found the Renegade dance emote in the game's files. For those who don't know, the Renegade dance originally comes from 14-year-old Jalaiah Harmon, but was later popularised by US TikTok star Charli D'Amelio.

Late in June, the Renegade dance was found in the game's files, and you can view it below thanks to known leaker HYPEX.

 

 

While the highly-anticipated dance emote is in Fortnite's game files, there was still no release date for the Renegade dance, until now.

HYPEX revealed on Twitter how the extremely popular TikTok dance will make its way into the Fortnite item shop on Saturday, 18th July.

 

 

At the time of writing, there is no exact release time. However, we do now know the leaked Fortnite release date for the TikTok Renegade dance.

It is currently unclear how much this dance emote will cost. It should be in the range of between 200 and 800 V-Bucks, depending on rarity. According to leaks since the latest big Fortnite update, the Renegade dance is "Epic" rarity, which means it will very likely cost 500 V-Bucks.

While the leaker has been very accurate with information in the past, always keep in mind this is still considered a leak or rumour until such time as Epic Games officially adds the TikTok Renegade dance to the item shop.
