Genshin Impact 4.0 update will bring three new playable characters, including Freminet, Lyney, and Lynette. While you can grab all of them by pulling them from their banners, HoYoverse has officially announced in Genshin Impact 4.0 livestream that they will be giving players a chance to grab her for free. 

This means that you will not have to save Primogems specifically for her, and if you want to add to your party for free, here's how you can do that.

As per the official announcement, all players with AR 25 or above will get Lynette for free in Genhsin Impact 4.0 update.  However, you need to keep in mind that you will only get C1 Lynette, and if you want the rest of her constellations, you will have to pull her from her banner. Lynette will be a part of the Phase 1 banner, so you still have enough time to collect Primogems if you want to max out her constellations. 

However, Lynette will be available for free for a limited time period, so make sure to grab her as soon as possible once she arrives in the game.
