Genshin Impact Candace – Release Date, Voice Actor, Story

Genshin Impact's 3.1, entitled "King Deshret and the Three Magi," will feature three more characters from the Sumeru region. Having already introduced Cyno and Nilou, Candace is the final character coming in the next update, with her backstory traced back to the Great Red Sand.

While Candace's past incites fear in those who encounter her, her closest allies speak highly of her selfless demeanor. Genshin Impact 3.1 – Candace Release Date

Candace is the next playable character joining Genshin Impact in the version 3.1 update. She'll be available in Phase 1 of the Character Event Wish banners on both Cyno and Venti's banners beginning 28th September 2022.

Travelers looking to add the character to their party can use Intertwined Fate to Wish for her in the hopes of pulling her from either banner. Furthermore, Candace will gain a massively boosted drop rate for these banners, so they should be in luck pulling for her.

Genshin Impact 3.1 – Candace Voice Actors

The guardian of Aaru Village is strong, assertive, and gentle; likewise, the talented voiceover actors providing Candace's voice embody the character. Japanese voice actor Ryôka Yuzuki and American voice actor Shara Kirby will lend their voices to the upcoming playable character.

Yuzuki is a prominent voice actor as she has provided voiceovers in popular video games, film, and television projects. These include Horimiya as Kayo Yashiro, Food Wars! The Fourth and Fifth Plate as Courage and as Ino Yamanaka in Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker.

Kirby is fairly new to the industry as her filmography is relatively short. Despite this, she has featured in various animated projects, including SMITE, Paladins: Champions of the Realm, and Pokémon Masters.

Genshin Impact 3.1 – Candace Story

As a former member of the troubled Treasure Hoarders, Candace is believed to be a descendant of the Scarlet King, King Deshret. The Hydro character received a blessing from the gods, which allows her to summon storms that trap enemies.

When visiting Aaru Village, many residents will speak of her kind and compassionate demeanor as she's described as the protector of this quaint village. From offering food and water to providing rest and shelter to exhausted mercenaries, Candace will not rest until she sees the village living in happiness and peace.

So, when Travelers find themselves in Aaru Village, they can seek out Candace to assist them with food and refuge. But if they find themselves in the crosshairs of this village guardian, she'll ensure that they'll never seek to inflict harm on the village.

The Genshin Impact 3.1 update, "King Deshret and the Three Magi," will release for PlayStation consoles, mobile devices, and PC via the Epic Games Store on 28th September 2022.
