Xingqiu is an S-Tier four-star support unit in Genshin Impact whose Elemental Burst, Guhua Sword: Raincutter, can easily help you increase the damage dealt by your DPS unit. This is achieved by triggering continuous Elemental Reactions like Vaporize, Electro Charged, Frozen, and others.

The nature of Xingqiu's Elemental Burst gives you more flexibility in supporting different DPS units at all ranges. You can use Xingqiu with Yoimiya to deal high damage to enemies from a fairly long distance, or you can pair Xingqiu with characters like Xiangling, Raiden Shogun, and Kamisato Ayaka, or others to take the fight up close and personal.

Best Build for Xingqiu in Genshin Impact

In Genshin Impact, you can build Xingqiu as a Hydro Sub DPS or as a Hydro Support unit—depending on the weapon and artifacts you use.

We will be equipping Xingqiu with the same weapons and artifacts as Xingqiu can act as a Sub DPS off-field. So why not use him as a Support while maximizing his Hydro DMG output.

Best Weapon for Xingqiu

The best weapon for Xingqiu is the Sacrificial Sword. It increases his Energy Recharge by 61.3% at level 90. The Weapon Skill, Composed, gives players a 40% chance to end Xingqiu's Elemental Skill's cooldown every 30 seconds, whenever you attack an enemy with his Elemental Skill, Guhua Sword: Fatal Rainscreen.

Even though the Sacrificial Sword is a four-star Sword, we recommend you to use it on Xingqiu - if you want to get the most out of his Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst. 

Apart from the Sacrificial Sword, you can use the following substitute weapons on Xingqiu:

Best Artifact for Xingqiu

Xingqiu is a Hydro element user. However, in his case, the best artifact for him is not the Heart of Depth artifact set. Instead, you can use the Emblem of Severed Fate artifact set to increase Energy Recharge by 20% while increasing the Elemental Burst DMG by 25% (a maximum of 75%) of Energy Recharge by equipping four pieces of the said artifact.

If you don't have decent pieces of the Emblem of Severed Fate artifact set, you can use two pieces of the Heart of Depth artifact set and two pieces of the Noblesse Oblige artifact set to get a 15% Hydro DMG bonus and 15% Elemental Burst DMG bonus.
