Xiao Rating in Genshin Impact

Xiao is an S+ tier character, and though he is a recluse who keeps to himself, when in combat he utilizes Anemo to deal high DPS (Damage per second) over wide areas with his heavy AOE (Area of Effect) attacks. He wields a Polearn and in combination with his ability to apply elements in a broad area, he becomes a real force to be reckoned with.

Xiao is unique in the sense that he can serve as a heavy damage dealer, as well as a main DPS with his Elemental Resonance that pushes his damage output quite high. Substitute Weapons

• Favonius Lance - Critical damage has a 60 - 100% chance of generating a small number of Elemental particles that regenerate 6 Energy for the character, and only occurs every 12-6 seconds.

• Deathmatch - If there are two or more enemies nearby, Attack and Defense are increased by 16%, and if there are fewer than two enemies nearby, Attack is increased by 24%.

Recommended Artifact: Viridescent Venerer

With a two-piece set of the Viridescent Venerer you gain an Anemo damage boost of 15%. With a full four-piece set, you gain an increase in Swirl damage of 60%. You will also decrease your opponent's Elemental Resistance to the elements infused to the swirl by 40% for 10 seconds, however, we have provided some solid Artifact alternatives below as well.

Substitute Artifacts

• Gladiator's Finale - A two-piece set gives you an 18% attack boost. And a four-piece set gives you a normal attack damage boost of 35%.

• Shimenawa's Reminiscence - A two-piece set also gives you an 18% attack boost. And with a four-piece set, if the caster is using an elemental skill, and if the caster has 15 or more Energy, they lose the 15 energy, and any Normal/Charged/Plunging Attack damage is increased by 50% for 10 seconds.
