Is God of War Ragnarok Coming To PC?

It's no surprise that God of War Ragnarok is one of the most anticipated video games of 2022. PlayStation's first-party AAA titles are famous for their state-of-the-art graphics, memorable characters, and bombastic set pieces, and if Ragnarok's reviews are any indication, this upcoming PlayStation title is no different.
The demand for PlayStation games on other platforms like PC has always been high, and thankfully, the company has finally started shipping its first-party titles to other platforms. 2018's God of War was recently released on PC and was a big hit. Many fans have been wondering whether its sequel, God of War Ragnarok, will be coming to PC.

Is God of War Ragnarok PS4 and PS5 Exclusive?

Sadly, as of this writing, God of War Ragnarok is only scheduled to release on PS4 and PS5. Although disappointing, PC players shouldn't find this move surprising since PlayStation doesn't release its first-party titles on other platforms until after its console launch. 

Games like God of War Ragnarok are system sellers for PlayStation, and it makes little to no sense to bring them to rival platforms at launch. This has been PlayStation's mantra for generations, and fans shouldn't expect it to change completely anytime soon.

While Sony Santa Monica studio hasn't hinted at this possibility, it's very likely that God of War Ragnarok will come to PC. If anything, this potential  PC launch could be sooner rather than later. 
In an interview with French gaming Youtuber Julien Chièze (translated by VGC), PlayStation Studios head Hermen Hulst discussed the future of PlayStation games on PC.  

According to Hulst, PlayStation games won't be coming to PC for at least a year after its console counterpart, with the exception of live-service and multiplayer titles.

While this doesn't necessarily confirm God of War Ragnarok's PC release, it at least gives PC players assurance that the game will eventually make its way to their platform. Long story short,  players could expect God of War Ragnarok to launch on PC anytime after November 2023.
