Halo Infinite has finally hit both digital and physical shelves, with fans getting to enjoy the multiplayer portion weeks prior now diving deep into the vast world of Zeta Halo in the franchise's first open-world foray.
While the launch has seemed to come and go without any hiccups, all things considered, despite not letting fans pre-load the campaign, a few pesky bugs have shown their face.
Most annoyingly, fans are reporting that achievements are taking too long to pop up, causing confusion about whether they are even unlocked or not.
Halo Infinite achievements not working - How to fix
Whether you've completed a mission, gotten one of the 12 elusive skulls, or used one of the many tools to score a spectacular, achievement worthy kill, achievements are taking too long to show up.
The criticism was such that 343 Industries acknowledged the problem via social media. "If you've completed the requirements for an Achievement, it will eventually unlock. Stay tuned for updates," they wrote.
We're investigating reports that some #HaloInfinite Achievements are unlocking on a slight delay. If you've completed the requirements for an Achievement, it will eventually unlock. Stay tuned for updates.

At the time of writing, there is no exact way to resolve the issue, as it's mostly a server issue with Microsoft due to the overwhelming amount of players trying to play the campaign.
In our experience, while the achievements are delayed, they do eventually show up on Xbox consoles. We tested having the Xbox PC app open while hunting achievements and we can confirm they pop up immediately via this method.
So if you're on a PC, or have one nearby while gaming, we recommend you keep the app running while playing Halo Infinite.
