Honkai Star Rail 4-Star & 5-Star Warp Animation Differences Explained

Here is all you need to know about the different Warp animations in Honkai Star Rail!
Honkai Star Rail 4-Star & 5-Star Warp Animation Differences Explained

Honkai Star Rail has a ton of unique and interesting characters for players to collect. Trailblazers will need to save Stellar Jade and Star Rail Passes in order to pull for characters during their limited rate-up period. Alternatively, players are always free to pull on the Standard Warp consisting of launch characters.

In most gacha games, a special animation will appear when acquiring a higher rarity character. This is often a rainbow effect that will appear on the screen during the pull animation. Honkai Star Rail is no exception, but it is far less obvious when compared to other games, and can be easily missed.

So, if you are curious to know more about the differences between pull animations in Honkai Star Rail, you've come to the right place. This article will explain how to tell the difference between a 4-Star and a 5-Star Warp animation in Honkai Star Rail.

There are several ways to tell whether your Warp contains a 4-Star or 5-Star character or Light Cone. We will break these down.

Firstly, the ticket will look different as it floats across space after pressing the Warp button. If your pull contains a 5-star, the ticket will look blurry and have the aforementioned rainbow effect surrounding it. This is very hard to see and can be easily missed, so keep a look out during your pulls.

The next way to tell if your pull has a 5-Star is the accompanying music. The music will be a lot more upbeat if your pull contains a 5-Star, so keep your ears at the ready. If you hear a different tune compared to your regular pulls, the pull contains a 5-Star.

The final and most obvious way to tell if your pull contains a 5-Star is the door behind Pom Pom. If the door behind Pom Pom is Blue, your pull contains only 3-Stars. If the door behind Pom Pom is purple, your pull contains at least one 4-Star. And, finally, if the door behind Pom Pom is gold, your pull contains at least one 5-Star.

It should be noted that the above animations are the same whether you pull a character or a Light Cone.

And that's everything you need to know about the Warp animation differences in Honkai Star Rail.
