Faker Is Coming To LoL Hall Of Legends

In a historic moment for League of Legends Esports (LoL Esports), the legendary mid-laner Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok becomes the first inductee to the Hall of Legends. This is to honor Faker's contributions for LoL along with his mastery and impact on millions of fans worldwide.

As a cornerstone of T1, he has consistently demonstrated his ability to make game-changing plays, earning him the revered title of “The Unkillable Demon King.” During his time, he has secured 10 LCK titles, two Mid-Season Invitational titles, and four World Championship titles.

“Faker is truly the most iconic and influential figure in League of Legends and esports history,” said John Needham, President of Esports at Riot Games. “His name is synonymous with excellence in LoL Esports, and he has rightfully earned his place as our very first Hall of Legends inductee.”

To celebrate Faker’s legacy, Riot will organize an exclusive in-game event during which players will be able to earn and purchase exclusive cosmetic items.

Additionally, Mercedes-Benz will also unveil a dedicated art piece for Faker that will blend reality with the League of Legends universe. The artwork will showcase Faker’s greatest achievements, and will also give us a look at a special gift by them—a custom Mercedes-AMG SL 63 for the Demon King himself.

Apart from the cosmetic skins, the Hall of Legends in-game event will also feature an event pass that will take you on a journey through Faker's career featuring his achievements, crazy moments, and more.
