The event, which takes place in Lisbon, Portugal, will play host to tournaments in League of Legends and CS:GO. Both tournaments have €10,000 prize pools, and both will be contested by some of the best all-women teams in the world. This is the second iteration of the GIRLGAMER Esports Festival. Following the success of the first edition, held in Macau, China, event organisers Grow uP eSports brought on several additional partners, including Kaisun Energy Group, sports content licensing agency Metta Sport, the Portugese Institute of Sport and Youth, and the Portugal-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry. “At GINX Esports TV we believe that the world of esports should be open and inclusive," says Solenne Lagrange, Marketing Director for GINX Esports TV. "We are very pleased to be broadcasting partners of the GIRLGAMER Festival.”
