The only official news right now about a new Legacy of Kain video game comes from a survey sent out by Crystal Dynamics in October 2022, which asked fans about the Legacy of Kain franchise.

The survey got over 100,000 responses, much more than the developer anticipated. As transcribed by Video Games Chronicle, the CEO of Crystal Dynamics and Eidos, Phil Rogers, said during an Embarcer Group earnings call that: "We wanted to gain a community perspective on what players are looking for should we revisit the land of Nosgoth and our iconic IP, Legacy of Kain."

Following this massive response, Phil Rogers told fans that they hear them "loudly and clearly", and that the developers would continue to update fans on the "possibilities ahead for Legacy of Kain in the future."

Legacy of Kain 6 Release Date Speculation

At the time of writing, there is no official confirmed release date for a new Legacy of Kain game, but in this article, you’ll find all (if any) information that the developer shared, as well as some speculation from Ginx on when we could see it launch.

The new Legacy of Kain game would be the sixth one in the franchise, so we are calling it Legacy of Kain 6 until further notice. At the time of writing, a new game has not even been announced yet, so there is no release date.
