New Sentinels of Light skins and cosmetics for Legends of Runeterra

Riot Games has unveiled the new update 2.12.0 for Legends of Runeterra, bringing with it the debut of the Sentinels of Light event into their card game with its second Champion Expansion, charged with lots of new cards and tons of cosmetics

While we previously covered most of the new cards that will be added into the Rise of the Underworlds set, including champions like Viego and Akshan, some of the new rewards were still pending to be shown until today’s reveal, so let’s take a look on all of the exclusive cosmetics available for free.

The Sentinels of Light event will launch on 14th July, and runs through 10th August, coming with an all-new Dueling Event Pass featuring exclusive rewards based on the Ruination and the Sentinels of Light. Some of the rewards will be available as well through the in-game store.

As a Dueling Event Pass, the first time you log in during the event, you’ll need to declare your allegiance to either the Ruined King or the Sentinels of Light. Your decision will determine the order Event Pass rewards are received, with the following being available for the Ruined side:

Ruined Draven, Karma, and Shyvana

The Ruined King and Ruination card backs

Ruined emotes, and Viego Hauntling and Ruined Urf Guardians

Additional art will also be available for Unbound Thresh, although it’s not clear if this will be part of the rewards of the Event Pass or a bundle exclusive:

Talking about bundles, four of them will be available in the store starting with the Sentinels of Light Premium Pass for 975 Coins.

This grants access to an upgraded event path with premium rewards, and immediately unlocks the Viego Hauntling Guardian or Sentinel Hauntling Guardian, depending on the side you chose.

With the Premium Pass, players can earn Crests by playing matches to unlock more rewards, and those who purchase it before 28th July will get an exclusive quest that awards 10 Crests and a Rare Prismatic Chest.

The Hope and Ruin bundle will be available in the Store for 6831 Coins, prorated for any items you already own from the rewards of the Event Pass.

This includes all champion cards shown above, and its alternate skins from the event.

The Light’s Haven bundle will be available in the Store for 2675 Coins, also prorated for any items you already own from the rewards.

This bundle includes the Sentinel Sanctuary Board, and three exclusive chroma variations inspired by Akshan, Riven, and Senna.

The final bundles are linked to two premade decks based on the new expansion, the Rise of the Ruined deck for 3276 Coins, focused on Viego and Shyvana, and the Sentinels’ Calling deck for 2970 Coins, focused on Riven and Akshan.

The Sentinels of Light event and both Event and Premium Passes end on 11th August at 10 AM PT.
