After introducing LEGO Fortnite, Epic Games converted a huge portion of the pre-existing skins and Outfits into LEGO versions to be used within the new sandbox title. Plenty of Fortnite's original skins now have LEGO variations, and are available to use if players already own the normal skin.

Every year, Epic Games offers players some free skins as part of the Winterfest celebration. As of 2023, players will be able to use these free skins in LEGO Fortnite.

Players can also obtain free skins by taking part in periodic promotions in other areas of Fortnite, such as the Battle Royale. Certain events and collaborations have the potential to award free skins, though it's not always guaranteed that these skins will be useable in LEGO Fortnite.

How To Get Free Skins & Outfits In LEGO Fortnite

Keep an eye on any official promotions offered by Epic Games. Right now, players can get the Explorer Emilie Outfit for free, by connecting their Epic Games and LEGO accounts together. 

Players can also earn free skins from seasonal events, like Winterfest. This year, both the Holiday Boxy Outfit and Winterfest Bushranger Outfit have a LEGO Style and are available to claim for free.
