Confirmed Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Wave 5 Tracks

The 5th wave of DLC for the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass is our next big update for the game, but so far Nintendo has not confirmed a single track.

We suspect we'll see another 8 tracks released for Wave 5, just as we've seen with all four DLC Booster Course releases.

As to which tracks will launch with Wave 5, that's anyone's guess.

New Characters Coming With Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Wave 5?

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass Wave 4 is now out, and it added a brand new character to the game in the shape of Birdo.

However, as fans noticed, the Wave 4 Update also added five more mystery character slots to the character select screen.

So it would suggest we'll see another 5 characters added to the game over the course of Wave 5 and Wave 6.

There are no suggestions as to which characters could be added to the game. Still, we imagine it will be returning characters such as Diddy Kong or other characters who might appear in the upcoming Mario Kart movie.
