Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is one of the biggest game launches for the PlayStation 5 this year. The game is highly rated and reviewers were very impressed with this particular game. One of the key aspects that reviewers did enjoy is that graphically, the game is very impressive. Players can enjoy Spider-Man 2 in fidelity mode or performance mode.

However, if people want to play Spider-Man 2 in fidelity mode, they might run into a couple of issues. The truth of the matter is that even though the game was reviewed pretty well, there are a couple of bugs that have been reported since the launch of the game. Namely, there is a bug that prevents players from entering fidelity mode in Marvel's Spider-Man 2.

For those who do not know, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 can be played in fidelity mode or performance mode. Fidelity mode is the game in the highest possible graphical settings but it will only run at 30 FPS. Performance mode is the game running at 60 FPS but not being as graphically intense. Some users cannot switch to fidelity mode for one reason or another.

To fix this, players will have to switch into fidelity mode while being in the game rather than from the main Spider-Man 2 title menu. On most occasions, this will fix the issue of switching between fidelity mode and performance mode. The reason for this being the case though is currently unknown.

Other Solutions To Switch To Fidelity Mode In Marvel's Spider-Man 2

Some users claim that no matter what they try, they cannot switch to Fidelity mode in Marvel's Spider-Man 2. If that is the case, they might want to check out their video settings on the main PlayStation 5 settings. There could be something there that is preventing the game from switching settings.

It could also be a matter of the screen that players are using that is preventing them from switching to fidelity mode. If neither is the case, then there might be a completely different issue altogether. Players who are still running into this issue after exhausting all options may want to contact tech support in Insomniac Games. They might have the solution to help get Spider-Man 2 running in fidelity mode.
