One of the most exciting upcoming games in early 2023 is Meet Your Maker, Behaviour Interactive's post-apocalyptic first-person building-and-raiding game. While there have been some playtests that you needed to jump through some hoops to get into, the Meet Your Maker Open Beta is an entirely different beast.

Meet Your Maker Open Beta Release Date & Time: Countdown Clock

Meet Your Maker's Open Beta will run for an entire week, from 6 to 13 February 2023. The exact release time for the Open Beta is 11am EST. Below, you can find a countdown clock to the release of Meet Your Maker's Open Beta, so you can jump into the action right away.

By our calculations, and based on the countdown clock on the game's official website, that's 02:00 UTC for those in Europe, as reflected by the clock above.

How To Join Meet Your Maker Open Beta

Unlike previous playtests, everyone and their cat can join Meet Your Maker's Open Beta on PC (via Steam) with ease. You can simply head on over to the game's Steam page and start downloading the Open Beta once the release date rolls around. No need to do anything else to play the game for an entire week.

We do, however, suggest you Wishlist Meet Your Maker on Steam just to stay in the loop as its release date of 4 April 2023 approaches.

Meet Your Maker Livestream For Open Beta

The developers are kicking off the Open Beta for Meet Your Maker with a one-hour livestream, which starts at 11:00 on 6 February 2023. It is hosted by Meet  Your Maker Game Designer, Inouk alongside the game's Community manager, Julia. 

You can watch it live via the game's official YouTube and Twitch channels. We've embedded the latter below for your viewing convenience. 

The stream promises "pure gameplay" and a crash course on Meet Your Maker, which is exactly how we like it. Interestingly, the Meet Your Maker Open Beta runs on the same dates as the Steam Next Fest 2023, and it will stand in as Behaviour's demo at the event:

Meet Your Maker will also be featured as part of Steam Next Fest, held from Feb. 6th – 13th. This multi-day celebration is an amazing showcase of upcoming Steam games, and Meet Your Maker’s Open Beta will stand in for our demo at the event, so look out for us there, too.
