Minecraft Legends has been shown off at the Xbox and Bethesda Developer Direct 2023, described as an action-strategy game set in the Minecraft World that'll allow you to not only create huge bases but also allow you to fight against your friends to prove your might.
In the game, you'll be able to build strongholds and fortresses to defend yourself against the attacking hordes. There's also a whole lot of mobs, both new and returning, that you can use in your defense or that you'll have to fight against over the course of the sieges upon your bases.
It'll use the Minecraft world as a backdrop for massive battles, allowing players, young and old, to defend their bases in a world that they're familiar with. You can also fight against other players in the aforementioned PvP mode, attempting to prove once and for all who has the best army and who needs to rethink their fortress.
Minecraft Legends will release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC. The game launches on April 18th, 2023, and will also be on Game Pass.
