After it was thought to have been cancelled, Mortal Kombat Kollection Online may still be in the pipeline after being rated across all platforms.
Mortal Kombat Kollection Online leaks through PEGI rating

Mortal Kombat Kollection Online, a remaster of the original Mortal Kombat trilogy, could be gearing up for an official announcement according to a new leak.

The Pan European Game Information board (PEGI) has rated the title for release across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC, and provided a description too.

The description reads: “Mortal Kombat Kollection Online is the original Mortal Kombat trilogy that MK fans always wanted.

“Upgraded art, gameplay, and online features provide an incredible experience that revive the ‘klassics’...”

Mortal Kombat Kollection

Mortal Kombat Kollection Online, developed by Blind Squirrel Games, was previously believed to have been cancelled in 2018 – although this new rating, while not confirmation, could indicate an official reveal is on the way.

A remaster of the original Mortal Kombat trilogy feels like an easy win for sales, and considering the strong performance of Mortal Kombat 11, it’s clear the brand still has huge pulling power.

This comes in advance of Joker heading into Mortal Kombat 11, with a recent trailer showcasing his fatality which similarly draws on the past.

Joker follows previous DLC characters The Terminator and Sindel, with the final character from the Kombat Pack, Spawn, set to be released on 17 March.

The Joker releases in Mortal Kombat 11 on 28 January 2020.
