Set to take place in March, Final Kombat 2020 sees the top 16 Mortal Kombat 11 players fight for a $100,000 prize pool.
There's a whole lot more taking place at the event in Chicago's Park West theater though, with developer NetherRealm releasing details on what to expect at Final Kombat 2020.
So what’s in store? A gameplay trailer of the final Kombat Pack DLC character Spawn will debut, with “other content reveals” planned too.
Spawn is set to be released on 17 March, following recent DLC character Joker who set a new bar for comical fatalities.
Elsewhere at Final Kombat, there’ll be special appearances from creator of Spawn, Todd McFarlane, Keith David who voices Spawn in Mortal Kombat 11, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa who voices Shang Tsung, along with creative director Ed Boon.
On site will be a Spawn-themed photobooth, action figure displays and Mortal Kombat 11 merchandise to scoop up.
