How to Download the NBA 2K24 Face Scan App
After using the MyNBA2K22 and MyNBA2K23 app naming scheme in the last few years for the face scan feature, a dedicated MyNBA 2K Companion App is now available and was updated as recently as September 5, 2023 in anticipation of the NBA 2K24 launch with an improved Face Scan feature. This verified 2K release is live on the App Store for iOS users to download now.
How To Scan Your Face (Tips and Tricks)
The first thing you'll need to do is connect the platform where you'll play NBA 2K24, whether that be PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, or Steam. Once you've logged in, your account will be linked and you'll be able to take full advantage of the MyNBA 2K Companion App features.
The primary feature that players will want to make use of is the ability to create an NBA 2K24 Face Scan that'll be used for their MyPLAYER creation in MyCAREER. It may take a few attempts to get the scan to take, as lower-quality scans can get rejected.
As instructed by the app, remove any hat or sunglasses and stand in the best natural light you can. If the photo can't pick up your facial features due to lighting, you're more likely to get a rejected scan.
They've also added a new 2K Beats Music Bar if you want to get the NBA 2K24 soundtrack cranked up at any time right from your phone. You can check game news, watch 2KTV, and even save time by punching in your NBA 2K24 Locker Codes with ease rather than bothering with your console's keyboard in the game itself.
