Outriders controller Right Stick sensitivity: How to fix

Outriders is finally here and hundreds of thousands of players are already enjoying the game across all platforms and systems.

And while the game's launch wasn't as smooth as Square Enix has hoped so, the overall launch day experience is still relatively fine compared to some other high profile games. Yes, Cyberpunk 2077, we are looking at you!

Nonetheless, there are bugs and problems here and there, most of which easily ignorable, but some of them can be quite annoying.

One of these annoying things is the issue players are having with controllers, particularly when playing with a controller on PC, but some are reporting that they are having controller issues even on consoles.

The most prevailing problem that players can't solve is the issue with an extremely low Right Stick sensitivity, no matter what you do in the settings.

Developers are aware of this problem are and working on a fix that should come with the next update, but who knows when that might be.

Until the update come and the problem is fixed, you can try these alternative workarounds.

If your controller doesn't work properly on PC while playing Outriders, particularly if the Right Stick sensitivity is really low, you can try some of these steps in order to fix it.

Keep in mind that this only works for Steam, as Epic Games doesn't support controllers officially.

  1. Launch Steam.

  2. Enter Big Picture mode

  3. From the Big Picture main screen select the gear icon in the top right corner.

  4. Select controller settings.

  5. Make sure that your specific controller is enabled.

  6. Go back to the Big Picture Main menu and select Library.

  7. Select Outriders

  8. Select Manage Game (Right below the game's picture)

  9. Steam Input - Controller Configuration

  10. Select Browse Configs - Templates
