Following Blizzard's successful integration of the One Punch Man anime world into the Overwatch universe, it was only a matter of time before the next anime collaboration made its way to us. Now, the highly renowned anime series Cowboy Bebop is set to arrive in Overwatch 2 this season.

For enthusiasts of Cowboy Bebop, Overwatch 2, or both, there's a good chance you're eager to learn more about this collaboration. If that's the case, we've got you covered. Below, we've compiled all the details currently available about the Cowboy Bebop and Overwatch 2 Collaboration, encompassing its launch date, upcoming cosmetics, and more.

Cowboy Bebop Will Be the Next Anime Collab in Overwatch 2

The Overwatch 2 collaboration event with Cowboy Bebop will begin on the 12th of March, and with it, there will be tons of new cosmetics and skins to enjoy that are themed after the main Cowboy Bebop crew.

Fans of the series are just as excited as the developers, it seems, as Overwatch 2 Associate Director Aimee Dennett said in a statement, "This collaboration is a wonderful way to pay homage to the legendary stories, art, animation, and music of the Cowboy Bebop series. We hope its fans and our players have as much fun with what we're bringing to Overwatch 2 as we did in creating it."

Similarly to the previous anime collab with One Punch Man, players will be able to purchase skins, but also get a free one via challenge completion. For a breakdown of the skins we currently know are coming, here's a quick summary:

In addition, there will also be new emotes, highlight intros, as well as featured tracks from the iconic anime series in the main menus.
