The open-world crafting/survival game Palworld has taken the industry by storm after its Early Access release on 19 January 2024, so of course, there's already a cheating problem!
Let's take a look at what developer PocketPair has in store for those found cheating on Palworld's mysterious Palpagos Island.
Palworld Cheating on Official Servers
We've seen a few suspicious Pal Tamers on Palworld's official servers, but as the game is new and not everyone understands speed-farming methods just yet, we ignored them. However, there appear to be cheating incidents on Palworld's official servers already.
The developers have already shared the Palworld content roadmap and now took to social media to explain countermeasures against cheating on official servers. Via the official Palworld Twitter (X) account, the developers noted:
Currently, some players have been confirmed to be cheating on the official server.
We will apply a patch as soon as it is ready, but it is currently difficult to completely prevent all cheating immediately.
We will continue to focus even more on security and aim to create an environment where everyone can play with peace of mind.
We sincerely apologize to all players who have been affected by this incident.
Thank you for your continued support of Palworld.
Keep in mind that these are real cheats, not the "cheats" in the form of Palworld difficulty World Settings we've outlined in a previous article. We do not condone any form of real cheating on official servers.

It remains to be seen how the fight against Palworld cheaters will go. Sometimes, it's a losing battle, as there will always be those who create new hacks to bypass security measures. All we can say is; good luck, PocketPair, we hope you smash it!
