If you have plenty of money to spend, we recommend eating at the Wakatsu Kitchen in Iwatodia Strip Mall. While the Prodigy Platter can increase your Academics, occasionally, they will have a special dish on sale that you shouldn't sleep on. You can also play the quiz game at the Arcade in Paulownia Mall to raise your Academics. Lastly, you can offer money at the Naganaki Shrine. Doing so has the chance to increase your Academics. 

If you don't have plenty of money to spend, you can work part-time at the Screenshot movie theater in Port Island Station. Doing so will increase your Academics and Courage. You can also study every day after school in your bedroom or in the library, granted you don't go to Tartarus or when there are any story events in motion.
