Persona Leaker Says Persona 3 Reload Isn't Coming To Switch

Persona 3 Reload won't be on the Nintendo Switch according to a known Persona leaker, despite a previous leak seeming to indicate the opposite.

The leaker stated:

"P3RE is not coming out to Switch. I reached out and I was told that there is no publisher deal made. Unless this changes, I would not get hopes up. I would also think the same for Metaphor. I was never told Metaphor would come to Switch, so a Switch version would be a new plan, not something that was part of original plan."

This means that two of the three newly announced Atlus games aren't coming to Nintendo Switch, with only Persona 5 Tactica launching on the system. It joins the likes of Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 5 Royal on the system. 

It's unclear as to why Atlus isn't planning to release Persona 3 Reload to Switch. It could be related to tech issues, and indicate that Atlus is building a remake that is a lot more demanding than the original Persona 3.
