Are you wondering how to use different Personas in Persona 5 Tactica? Like previous entries in the franchise, Persona 5 Tactica is a game where you fight corrupted enemies in an alternate dimension using the power of your heart manifested into reality, known as Personas.

However, a few things work differently. For instance, unlike Persona 5, Joker can't use multiple Personas in Persona 5 Tactica. While it's a shame, the game makes up for it by allowing other members of the Phantom Thieves to equip different Personas instead of their default ones. Here's how it works.

What Are Sub-Personas In Persona 5 Tactica?

Before we reveal how to use different Personas in Persona 5 Tactica, it's necessary to understand what a Sub-Persona is, especially since the game throws this term around a lot.

Simply put, Sub-Personas are the additional Personas whose skills you can use in combat in addition to your existing ones. For instance, Ann's default Persona is Carmen, which deals fire damage, and it's what she uses through the entirety of Persona 5. However, in Persona 5 Tactica, Ann can use an additional skill of a Sub-Persona, which can be any Persona that Joker could use in the original game.

Sub-Personas allow you to mix and match different Personas' skills to experiment with and build your party members accordingly. However, note that every party member can only use one of the skills of one Sub-Persona at a time.
