Phasmophobia's weekly challenges require players to complete a task in the game that they might not otherwise finish; for example, some of them involve identifying the ghost with no evidence or singling out a particularly slow but aggressive ghost.

How To Complete The 'Paranormal Paparazzi' Challenge

Phasmophobia's Paparazzi weekly challenge reads: “You’ve got cameras, lights, and sound. Find that ghost type!” By completing this challenge, you can earn $5,000 and experience.

You'll have to correctly identify the ghost on the Bleasdale Farmhouse map three times, using a mix of equipment from all tier levels. Essentially, you're playing on Professional difficulty, but you'll only be able to use certain equipment.

Keep An Eye On Cameras

Cameras are one of the tools you'll have for this challenge, and they'll help you out substantially. Place some cameras and have some teammates go in with some; if the ghost is prone to showing up on cameras, you'll undoubtedly see one if you're persistent. A ghost's behavior on camera, or lack thereof, can help you figure out what type of ghost it is.

Place DOTS Projectors Within Cameras' View

Since you'll also have a DOTS projector, you should use them to your advantage by placing them in view of the cameras you've placed. This way, you can keep an eye out for DOTS evidence, and monitor the ghost's behavior, from a distance.

Find The Ghost Room Early On

While it may take some time to figure out what ghost you're dealing with in the farmhouse, you can expedite this process by discovering the ghost room early. To do this using the tools you've got for this challenge, make use of Sound Sensors and Motion Sensors. If the ghost moves, displays any type of activity or even initiates an event, you can catch it using these sensors.

Once you've pinned down the ghost room, you'll know where to scope out for more evidence, and hopefully discover the ghost's identity.
