Phasmophobia's weekly challenge, Tortoise and Hare: Hare, speeds things up for players, and makes the game a little easier than usual. This challenge's unique set of changes to the game will be fun for both new and dedicated players, as it's just the right level of challenge. That said, there are many strategies you can use to overcome this week's challenge. Here's how to beat this week's challenge, Tortoise and Hare: Hare.

Phasmo Weekly Challenge: "Tortoise and Hare: Hare" Tips

Tortoise and Hare: Hare reads: "Give it your all. This ghost is feeling especially frail." Players will need to successfully identify the ghost type in Bleasdale Farmhouse 3 times in order to get a $3,000 reward.

You are the "hare" in this challenge, meaning you'll move quickly as you attempt to find the ghost. The ghost, however, will be quite slow and skittish. This might make it harder to identify them, but thankfully, your speed will be largely to your benefit.

Use Speed To Your Advantage

Having extra speed in Phasmophobia, as you will in the Hare challenge, will give you numerous benefits; not only can you move to different rooms and search for the ghost more efficiently, you can also outrun the ghost in chases if they do happen to Hunt you. This should encourage you to be a bit braver in your interactions with the ghost, since risk levels aren't quite so high.

Identify The Ghost Room Quickly

Speaking of using speed to your advantage, you'll want to identify the ghost room as quickly as possible. Bleasdale Farmhouse isn't a huge map, so it shouldn't be too hard to find your way around and put your finger on the ghost room pretty early. Even against slow ghosts, the less time you spend lingering around the map, the better.

Remember The Mimic

When you're able to move fast, you're also usually able to gather evidence a little faster. While this may mean it's seemingly easy to identify the ghost, don't forget about The Mimic. If your evidence leads you to a ghost type that coincide's with The Mimic's evidence, you'll want to double-check that the ghost you're dealing with is not one. Forgetting about The Mimic is one of the easiest ways to lose in Phasmophobia.
