Obtaining Bloodmoon Ursaluna requires a few criteria to be met. First of all, players will need to speak with Perrin in Mossui Town. They will task you with filling at least 150 entries in your Kitakami Pokédex. Thankfully, a lot of the Pokémon here overlap with those found in the Paldea Pokédex (approximately 90 species).

This means, for dedicated trainers who have already completed the Paldea dex, you are already more than halfway finished with this requirement. Once this requirement has been met, Perrin will ask the player to meet them in the Timeless Woods.

Perrin will set up a tent, and the player will now need to wait for a foggy night. Perrin will then give the player a camera and task them with taking pictures of ten different Pokémon.

After this, Ursaluna, the Bloodmoon Beast will appear, and players will need to take it down in a similar fashion to the Titan Pokémon in the main story. You cannot catch Bloodmoon Ursaluna in this state, so just defeat it as quickly as possible.

Once its health bar has been depleted, you will be able to catch it. During this time, Bloodmoon Ursaluna has a 100% catch rate, so if you want it in a special Apriball, make sure you come prepared.

Bloodmoon Ursaluna is a Ground and Normal-type Pokémon, and unfortunately, you cannot breed for this Pokémon. It is currently impossible to evolve Ursaring or Ursaluna into Bloodmoon Ursaluna in the game, meaning the only way to obtain it is by completing this special side quest.

And that is everything you need to know about how to get Bloodmoon Ursaluna in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet The Teal Mask DLC!
