Throughout the years, there have been many mainline Pokemon games, the most recent being Pokemon Scarlet and Violet which were released in 2022. In these games, a lot of new Pokemon were introduced and that is continuing to be the case. The Teal Mask DLC just launched for Scarlet and Violet and now there are even more new Pokemon in the game.

On top of the new content, there are also returning Pokemon like Ekans making an appearance for the first time in Scarlet and Violet. There are even returning items, such as the Exp. Charm and here, we will go over how to get it.

In The Teal Mask, there are a lot of different events that happen throughout the game. There are plenty of new Pokemon to check out and on top of that, a completely new area to explore. If players want to get the Exp. Charm as soon as possible, they should first focus on the story of the game. Players will quickly get into a story scenario where there is a festival happening.

At that festival, there will be a new minigame called the Oger Oustin' game. What players need to do is clear the Oger Oustin' minigame for the first time to get the Exp. Charm. The Oger Oustin' minigame is located at Kitakami Hall during the festival. As far as we can see, this is the only way to get the Exp. Charm in Scarlet and Violet.

This is not the first time that the Exp. Charm has appeared in a Pokemon game. The Exp. Charm was first introduced in Pokemon Sword and Shield. In those two titles, the Exp. Charm increased the amount of Exp. players get from battles by 50%. The Exp. Charm does not work if you are using Exp. Candies on your Pokemon.

The Exp. Charm is a key item that will remain in your key item pocket to use. If players are interested in training the new Pokemon that they have gotten during The Teal Mask DLC, this is a great key item to get.
