The Indigo Disk DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is brings with it a lot of brand-new Pokémon and Pokémon evolutions previously unseen. Naturally, this means completionists will be putting in the work to round out their Pokédex.

The featured Pokémon for this round of DLC is Terapagos, a sparkly turtle Pokémon with two unique forms. Terapagos is the poster Pokémon for this new expansion, and many trainers are eager to add this unique turtle to their collection. 

So, we'll cover everything you need to know about how catching Terapagos in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet The Indigo Disk DLC.

How To Catch Terapagos In Pokémon Scarlet & Violet The Indigo Disk DLC

Before you can acquire Terapagos, trainers will need to beat the entire Indigo Disk storyline. This includes beating the Elite Four and every single trainer at Blueberry Academy. Once this has been completed, you will be prompted to return to Area Zero.

After exploring a new region of Area Zero, players will encounter Terapagos, where it is caught by Kieran. After several cutscenes and a short battle, players will need to take on Terapagos for real.

This battle is much like a Tera Raid battle where your supporting cast jumps in to help you at times. Make sure to be aware of Terapagos' Tera Types and Terrastalize your Pokémon accordingly. 

Once defeated, Terapagos can be captured and added to your collection. Much like with other Tera Raids, you can choose to catch Terapagos in any ball you like, so if you want this legendary Pokémon in a special ball, make sure to come prepared.
