Six Invitational is back for the 5th time, and in 2021 it will be the biggest one yet.

For the first time in the history of Rainbow Six Siege, the tournament will host 19 teams which will compete for the prestige title and a hefty prize pool.

And also for the first time, the event won't be held in Montreal. This year, teams are travelling to Europe, in the city of lights: Paris, France.

Six Invitational 2021 is heading to Paris for the first time and with the 19 of the best teams in the world, we can expect another unforgettable tournament which will become a part of esports history.

To make sure that you are ready for the tournament and have all of the important information, we've gathered all you need to know in one place.

Six Invitational 2021 will be held from 9th February until 21st February.

Group Stage: 9th - 14th February

Playoffs: 17th - 21st February

 

Six Invitational 2021 format

Six Invitational 2021 is split into two phases.

Group Stage

  • Two groups
  • Each group has 10 teams
  • All teams play each other once (round-robin)
  • Bo1 matches
  • Top 8 teams from each group will advance to playoffs

Playoffs

  • Double-Elimination bracket
  • All matches are Bo3
  • The Grand Final is Bo5 with the upper bracket winner having 1 map advantage (starts with 1-0 lead)

The best teams from all around the world are invited to Six Invitational 2021.

Unfortunately, Wildcard Gaming has not been given the green light to travel by their government, so the tournament will have 19 instead of 20 teams.

Six Invitational 2021 Prize Pool

The tournaments boast a $500,000 USD prize pool which will be further increased with 30% of all Road to S.I. 2021 Battle Pass sales ($3,000,000 USD cap).

The rewards will be split as follows:

Although Wild Gaming will not participate, they will still be granted 1%.
