Joining G2 in the playoffs from Group B are Team Secret. Having beaten Rogue in their opening match, it was a rematch with the Americans that saw them make the quarterfinals, taking Bank and Coastline.

Giants Gaming's debut has been successful in Raleigh despite the opening Group C game loss to Spacestation Gaming. Eliminating NiP, Giants disposed of Evil Geniuses in similar fashion for their spot against forZe in the first quarterfinal.

Group D saw FaZe Clan initially drop into the Elimination Match, only to overcome fnatic and DarkZero for their spot. FaZe had to play 43 rounds to make it through, the most of any team in the Group Stage of the Major.

The clash for the last quarterfinal place came down to TSM and MiBR. TSM had a lot to prove while MiBR were representing their newly-bestowed organisation's name in their first non-CS venture. MiBR won their opening game while TSM fell to the might of Team Empire before bouncing back to avoid elimination and they were victorious in the end with a 2-0 over the Brazilians.

With these four teams joining the four teams to top their groups, G2 Esports, Spacestation Gaming, forZe and Team Empire, the Finals bracket has been drawn and the matchups confirmed by @ESLRainbowSix.

The favourites, G2 and Empire, sit on opposite sides of the bracket and look set to meet each other in the Grand Final on Sunday, but there is some upset potential along the way for both teams. TSM took a map off of Empire in the Group Stage so might put up a fight against G2, so their run might not be as dominant in this latter stage.
