Red Dead Redemption Rated In Korea, Could Indicate Potential Remaster

Yeehaw.
Red Dead Redemption Rated In Korea, Could Indicate Potential Remaster

The existence of a Red Dead Redemption remaster has been a point of contention for quite a long time now, with people unsure as to whether it exists or not, and wondering if we could ever see the game on current-generation consoles. Now, a new rating in Korea could indicate that we might finally see it.

As spotted over on Reddit, it's not just an old rating that has only just been updated. It appears to be a brand-new rating, with Gematsu stating that

"The new rating carries the classification number "CC-NV-230615-001."  In Korean game ratings, NV refers to consoles games, while NP refers to PC Games"

This does not indicate that the game might be a console-exclusive title though, rather that only the console version of the game HAS been rated so far. If this does indicate a potential remaster for Red Dead Redemption, then fans may be concerned. The GTA trilogy remaster wasn't exactly received well, with it being filled with bugs and glitches galore, and it's damaged the reputation that Rockstar has. If a Red Dead Redemption remaster IS coming, then it needs to be absolutely impeccable, and it needs to make people forget about the GTA trilogy remasters.
