Beaks Update 2 is officially live, and it’s one of the most feature-packed updates yet. You can finally gift birds to friends, float across regions in hot air balloons, and take down rare avians with three brand-new guns. Add 15+ new birds, revamped mechanics, and massive bug fixes—yeah, it’s a big one.

You asked. They listened. You can now gift birds to other players. Whether it’s a rare catch or just flexing your dupes, the system is smooth and bug-free after patching. Trade up, help friends, or surprise someone—it's all fair game now.

Take to the Skies in Hot Air Balloons

Mobility gets a major upgrade with Hot Air Balloons. Glide over regions in style and spot birds from above. Not only does it look cool, but it’s a tactical way to scout rare spawns without getting swarmed on foot.

New Guns, New Possibilities

Update 2 drops three new guns, each tied to a unique biome:

• Deadlands

• Quill Lake

• Mount Beaks

These guns aren’t just skins—they’re meta-shifting. Three new mutations are locked to these weapons, so you’ll want to explore each region and get geared.

15+ New Birds, Including 4 Mythical & Legendary

A whole flock of new birds has arrived, and some of them are game-changers. Over 15 new species have been added, with four Mythical and Legendary birds confirmed in the Deadlands zone. If you’re hunting the rarest of the rare, now’s the time to grind.

Weight-Based Scaling is Live

A major gameplay shift: Bird weight now affects scaling. Bigger birds = bigger impact. This affects scoring, stats, and dart effectiveness, so you’ll need to start thinking about weight when making your loadouts.

Quality-of-Life Improvements

• You can now buy darts anywhere via the store. No more backtracking mid-hunt.
• Wishing Well luck has been overhauled—your chances at rares are actually decent now.
• The radio feature is live. Pro tip: crab rave is a vibe.

Bug Fixes

• Gamepass and gifting bugs fixed
• Wishing Well now works properly—birds won’t vanish anymore
• Rarity tags are back, helping you instantly spot that valuable catch
• Inventory issues resolved
• Firefly & Cherry Blossom events now cover entire regions
• Event spawn rates increased
• Tons of major and minor bug fixes for smoother play
