Grow A Garden just dropped a fat stack of new pets in its Summer Update—and some of them are actually cracked. We're talking parrots, sea creatures, and a very smug-looking peacock, all packed with fresh passive abilities to boost your XP, cooldowns, or plant game.
While a few abilities are still under wraps (classic leak life), early info gives us a solid look at what to expect once the Paradise and Summer Eggs crack open. Here are all the new pets added in the Grow A Garden Summer update.

How Many Pets Were Added In The Grow A Garden Summer Update?
There are 14 new pets in Grow A Garden after the Summer update: Peacock, Mimic Octopus, Toucan, Flamingo, Crab, Ostrich, Scarlet Macaw, Capybara, Orangutan, Seal, Starfish, Sea Turtle, Seagull, and Macaw. These pets can be obtained by hatching the Summer Egg or the Paradise Egg.
All Summer Update Pets & Abilities In Grow A Garden
This table lists every pet added in the Grow A Garden Summer update, including their passive ability according to early leaks.

| Orangutan | When crafting, each material has a chance not to be consumed |
| Seal | When selling pets, has a small chance to get the pet back as its egg equivalent |
| Starfish | Has increased pet XP per second |
| Sea Turtle | Occasionally shares wisdom with a random active pet, granting bonus XP |
| Toucan | Makes all nearby Tropical type plants have increased variant chance and grow bigger |
| Cappybara | Nearby pets' hunger will not go down, and they will gain additional XP per second |
| Peacock | Occasionally fans its feathers and all nearby pets will advance ability cooldowns |
