Beaks Update 3 has arrived! We’re talking tectonic shifts, ancient myths, and a literal fiery phoenix blazing across the skies. With three new Mythic birds, a secret Blood Moon-exclusive species, and major changes to Deadlands exploration, the hunt is back on in a big way.

The Phoenix Has Landed (Literally)

Locals say it started with a rumble. Then the birds changed. Bigger sizes, strange colors, rare spawns—until finally, under a blood-red moon, a blazing creature took to the skies. That wasn’t just any bird. Merchants are calling it the phoenix. And if the rumors are true, it’s catchable. But only during the Blood Moon Event.

Secret Bird Unlock – Only During Blood Moon

There’s a new species in the game—but it’s locked behind the Blood Moon. This secret bird won’t show up under normal conditions, so you’ll need to keep your eyes on the sky (and maybe drop that new code—scroll down).

Three New Mythic Birds

Update 3 adds three new Mythic-tier birds. You’ll need to track them down across the skies, but early word is they’re some of the most powerful species yet. One was even spotted near the edge of the Deadlands.

Deadlands Gets Deadlier

Deadlands just became... well, deadlier. A gas leak now makes it unsafe to enter without proper gear. You’ll need a Gas Mask if you want to explore the area and complete the new quests added in this update.

Wren’s Quest & Cherry Blossom Event

A brand-new questline is live. Complete Wren’s Quest to unlock the Cherry Blossom Event, which brings spring-themed visuals and (allegedly) a limited-time blossom-colored bird.

Two New Deadlands Quests

Check in with the Scientist and Striker NPCs in the Deadlands. Both have fresh missions that tie into the updated region and provide new rewards—assuming you survive the trip in.

Quality-of-Life Updates & Fixes

Gameplay Fixes

• Quill Lake bird spawns are now back to normal.
• Wishing Well finally works with all bird types.
• Blood Moon and Golden Moon quests now function correctly.
• Darts not dropping from quests? Fixed.

Interface & Functionality

• Quest List now scrolls across pages—no more stuck tasks.
• Birds not appearing after capture? That’s patched.
• Gun-related softlock bugs are gone.

Rarity Rebalances

• Several birds had incorrect rarity tags—Ghost Hawk among them. These have been rebalanced for clarity and drop rate accuracy.
