Chests contain customization items and perks, so finding the chest map upgrade is pretty important. If you want it, you will have to make your way to the Phon'Qi Caverns in Koboh. Explore these caverns on a Rumor by a prospector outside of Doma's Shop and you should be on your way.

How To Get The Seed Pod Map Upgrade In Jedi Survivor

Seed pods are difficult to find if you are not paying attention to them so having this map upgrade is very helpful. First, you need to recruit Pili Walde to join the settlement in Koboh. Once you do, she will be taking care of the garden at Pyloon's Saloon on the roof. Unlock all of the garden spaces and you will get the Seed Pod Map Upgrade.

How To Get The Essence Map Upgrade In Jedi Survivor

The Essence Map Upgrade can be found in the Alignment Control Center in Koboh. To get the map upgrade, you need to complete some Jedi Chambers first. Complete the following chambers, come back to the screen room and the map upgrade is yours:

How To Get The Treasure Map Upgrade In Jedi Survivor

This one requires you to be on the desert planet Jedha. You will first need to find the Wayfinder's Tomb and unlock it. This will require you to go to three different locations on the planet and solve a puzzle to unlock the Wayfinder's Tomb. Go to The Path of Conviction, the Path of Restoration, and the Path of Persistence, solve the puzzles, go back to the Wayfinder's Tomb, and recieve your reward.

How To Get The Databanks Map Upgrade

If you are interested to learn more about the lore of the game, this is the map upgrade for you. To get this map upgrade, you need to go to Nova Garon. This area is not available until you're toward the end of the game, but you might run into this place naturally. Head to the Central Command Area and the map upgrade is just in that room.
