Defeat Monsters

A somewhat more reliable way to earn Prismatic Shards is to defeat monsters in the mines. Serpents and Mummies offer the greatest chance at 0.1%. There is a 0.05% Prismatic Shard drop chance from Shadow Brutes and Shadow Shamans.

The chance gets even greater as you get deeper into the mines; once you reach the deepest level, every single Monster you defeat has a 0.05% chance of dropping a Prismatic Shard.

Keep Rainbow Trout

Players can keep Rainbow Trout in their Fish Ponds in return for a small chance of earning a Prismatic Shard. You'll need to keep at least nine Rainbow Trout in a single Fish Pond for this to work. Once you have nine of them, you have a 0.09% daily chance of getting a Prismatic Shard from the pond.

Mine Irdium Nodes and Omni Geodes
