A guide to Chrono: Spilling the TFTea

Chrono is an origin that grants attack speed as its trait bonus to help champions strike at warp speed. This is all you need to know about Chrono and how to achieve success with it.
A guide to Chrono: Spilling the TFTea

Teamfight Tactics' third set, Galaxies, brought new and returning champions with classes and origins that differ from previous sets.

One of these origins is Chrono. In Galaxies, Chrono champions are one of the minor origins based on the Pulsefire skinline, granting all allies gain attack speed every four seconds.

The bonus activates on two, four and six champions:

  • Two = 15%
  • Four = 35%
  • Six = 65%

This trait is similar to the Zeke’s Herald which is an item that grants +15% attack speed to the equipped champion and those within two horizontal hexes.

There are seven Chrono champions currently available in Galaxies:

  • Caitlyn
  • Twisted Fate
  • Blitzcrank
  • Shen
  • Ezreal
  • Wukong
  • Thresh

Below is a full breakdown of the champions including their costs, classes and stats.

Build Guide

Chrono doesn't have a spatula option but benefits from only needing six out of the seven total Chrono champions for the full trait bonus.

All allies gaining attack speed means classes like Blademaster and Blaster can utilise their own bonuses better the more they attack, making them strong synergy possibilities with Chrono.

Dark Star Sniper champion Jhin's passive converts bonus attack speed into attack damage, making him a solid choice alongside Chrono too.

In the introductory video to the Galaxies set, Chrono is considered a minor origin and so should be used alongside stronger major origins and powerful classes for the best results on the Convergence.
