A guide to Star Guardian: Spilling the TFTea

Teamfight Tactics' third set, Galaxies, brought new and returning champions with classes and origins that differ from previous sets.

One of these origins is Star Guardian. In Galaxies, Star Guardian champions are from one of the newest origins, allowing their spellcasts to grant mana to other Star Guardians spread among them.

This bonus triggers with three and six Star Guardian champions on the field:

  • Three = 30 total mana
  • Six = 60 total mana

There are six Star Guardian champions currently available in Galaxies:

  • Poppy
  • Zoe
  • Ahri
  • Neeko
  • Syndra
  • Soraka

Below is a full breakdown of all of the Star Guardian champions including their costs, classes and stats.

Build Guide

Star Guardians are abundant and three are Sorcerer class, making it a natural choice to centre mana-based builds around.

Sorcerer grants bonus spell power with two, four or six Sorcerers so an additional Sorcerer will be needed to maximise the potential of a full Star Guardian build and there is a new item that can make this easier.

In order to get the full six champion bonus without all six champions above on the field, you will need to use a Star Guardian's Charm on a non-Star Guardian champion.

This item can be made with a Spatula and a Tear of the Goddess, dropped as a full item or found in carousels. While a previous patch removed Spatulas from the carousel, they have returned in Galaxies.
