Teamfight Tactics Patch 11.10: Champion and traits changes, ranked rewards, more

The first big patch of this Set has brought many updates to help diversify the game’s meta, and some exclusive Fates rewards. Read here all Teamfight Tactics patch 11.10 details.

The Set 5 of Teamfight Tactics has started to gain some traction, being one of the best received by the autobattler’s community and bringing lots of comps to an evolving meta with the help of the Shadow Items and many new traits.

As the game continues its course, Riot has released everything around the Patch Notes for the 11.10 update, due to arrive on 12th May and that will make big changes while also adding new win conditions by increasing the late game of much of the units.

Patch 11.10: Champion & traits changes

Many of the 3, 4 and 5-cost all-stars will be affected by a reduction in their overall power, to open up comp diversity and create a more stable meta where every player can find a victory without having to focus on a single strategy.

As for the traits, the comps based on Abomination will see a reduction in its late-game potential, while some others like the Forgotten will receive a balance in their power, and some others focused on armour and magic resist will be nerfed a bit to give players a better chance to beat them.

Although it has been featured as the main mechanic of this Set, some of the Shadow Items had been underutilized as these gave more cons than pros between the game, so now these items will be empowered to make a more creative itemization that gives them better play rates.

The Sacrificial Gauntlet will also have a total rework, making the holder gain more Critical Strike Damage, and percentage, and magic and true damage from their Ability can now critically strike. Also, the first time the holder casts their Ability in each combat, it will gain an additional 20% Critical Strike Chance for the remainder of combat. 

Finally, each time the holder casts their Ability, they deal 15% of their maximum Health to themselves as true damage.

To finish our coverage on this patch, we want to alert you the Ranked Rewards for Set 4: Fates will start to be dropped to those eligible throughout the course of this patch.

As a reminder, players who reached Gold or higher at any point in the Fates set will receive the Victorious Protector to me-wow their opponents, while those who managed to reach Gold or higher in both halves of the set will receive the Fates-themed Triumphant Protector as well.

And if you made it to Gold or higher during the Festival of Beasts, then you’ll be awarded a Protector emote to celebrate your performance during the back half of Fates. The emote will signal your success through a headdress that reflects the peak rank you received.
